The chances of a passed ball allowing a runner on 3rd to score as compared to a wild pitch is probably close to 50:1 or more. Always, always, always Stretch! Giving up too much of a lead down the line allows the potential for a passed ball to allow the runner to score and allows the runner to score on a ground ball where he would otherwise hold.
